Grow Our Territory

Midwest Supply & Distribution is expanding its outside sales team. We're looking for driven, relationship-first sales professionals who know their markets and aren't afraid to put miles on the truck.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

THE ROLE

  • Prospect and develop new accounts across your assigned area through cold calls, referrals, and in-person visits
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers in manufacturing, construction, and industrial distribution
  • Sell fasteners, hardware, and related products from our focused, curated product line
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close deals with procurement managers and operations leads
  • Coordinate with our internal team on order fulfillment and inventory needs
  • Report weekly on pipeline activity, account wins, and market conditions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience — industrial, distribution, or hardware background strongly preferred
  • Existing relationships with buyers, contractors, or plant managers in your area is a major plus
  • Self-motivated with strong time management — you run your own schedule and hit your numbers
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and basic reporting (we use a simple system)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within your area
  • High school diploma required; degree a bonus, not a requirement
